And there they are, out of his mouth & on the tray...
The coming off part was pretty easy...
But then what followed was not very pleasant. And by not pleasant, I mean painful. Those are Sammy's white knuckles there...
But it was worth it in the end, and here's my gorgeous son sans braces.
It took me about 2 seconds to get used to seeing him without metal on his teeth. I thought it would be more of an adjustment, but it wasn't. We were done at the orthodontist office right at the time he would be going for lunch at school, so I bought him a chicken quesadilla from Taco Bell for his lunch. He was happy to eat one of his favorite things without having to pick it out of his braces afterwards!
Cute! It seems to me like Sammy just got his braces, but I'm sure it doesn't seem like it to him.
