In all my many, many photos this week, I have caught several birds on film (well, not film, is it? on card, I suppose...?), anyway, the birds were in mid-flight. Most of these photos are pretty poor quality, not good focus. I have not been able to (and am beginning to suspect I will never) master the technique of photographing speedy subjects with my Sony. So here I give you my piss-poor, blatantly lucky, slightly-out-of-focus shots of birds in flight.






And for the grand finale... the male cardinal in flight... I watched him yesterday going from the star magnolia to the feeder, then back, then again, and again, and again...
